Beautiful European type pear is a recent release from USDA-ARS West Virginia is medium-sized, yellow-green with some russet.
Strong, fast and vigorous with excellent disease resistance, including fireblight.
Beautiful dark blue-green leaves. Yields heavily and stores for up to four months.
Very cold hardy variety.
Zones: 4-8
Is not self-pollinating, needs another pear for fruit. Pollinated by Comice, Flemish Beauty, Harrow Delight, Kieffer, Rescue, Ubileen, Shenandoah and most other pears.
