The Suncrest Peach Tree produces loads of juicy peaches with firm, yellow flesh and a truly extraordinary peach flavor that includes a hint of citrus!
Blooms later than most peaches and the blossoms can handle frost which is wonderful in those years when it warms up in April and then gets cold again. This causes many peaches to drop their blossoms, but the Suncrest seems to handle this well.
Self-pollinating like most peaches, but produces better when planted near a different variety with a similar bloom time.
Zones: 4-8 cold hardy to -20 degrees Farenheit.
Ripens early to mid-season in August.
