Heritage apple variety with medium size, greenish yellow fruit with brown flush, usually covered with a heavy russet.
Its flattish round shape with crisp, yellowish juicy flesh hides the treasure found to those who eat it.
Unique, intense flavor that makes excellent single varietal cider. The intense sweet, acidic flavor is not for people who love a mild apple. Will keep 3-4 months, but we like it best straight off the tree. Hardy to -40 degrees. Late ripening apple.
4-5 feet tall bare root tree, will grow to 25 feet unpruned.
